Blog Post #39 - Editing The Music

I did not have to do much work to edit the sound for my video. But my first step was to find a website that would let me download sounds for free. The next step I did was transfer it from my computer to my phone. The third and final step was making sure the music matched the finished movie opening.

It took me hours of searching for websites just to find one that actually had what I was looking for. In the beginning I would find a website, but it didn't have the music I was looking for and then once I find one that did have the music, I would have to pay to download it.

Then I got my music downloaded and then my next problem was trying to get it to transfer to my phone. Getting it to transfer was definitely a struggle. I had to go to my files and search for the music I had downloaded. Once I found it, I then had to open it and then email it to myself so I could access it on my phone. I then had to download it to my phone. After downloading it, I opened the editing app I have been using for my project to then import the music.

The final step was making it match up to the scenes. I had to cut the music into pieces so I could slow some sparts down and speed others up. After adjusting the pace of the music, I had to adjust the volume for each clip because there are sound effects that need to be heard a little more than the music.
